1. Reservation
a. A reservation request is accepted if it is confirmed by La Maison des Druides / camping Le Jardin des Druides by sending the invoice.
b. A reservation is nominative and not transferable to third parties.
c. Directly after reservation 40% of the rent has to be paid. The remainder of the rental price must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period.
d. In the case of reservations made at short notice, from 8 weeks or less before the start of the rental period, the rental sum must be paid in one go.
e. In case of late payment La Maison des Druides is entitled to cancel the reserved holiday. Already paid amounts will not be refunded. The cancellation conditions are then fully in force.

2. Payment
a. Payments for the gites can be made via Amenitiz Pay on our website.
b. Payments for the campsite can be made by bank transfer (when booking a few weeks before arrival) or cash (last minute booking).

3. Deposit (only for gîtes)
a. The amount of the deposit is fixed at 100€.
b. The deposit will be paid by bank transfer (refunded at the latest the 1st week of the month following the last rental day).
c. If there is damage or the cottage is left in a dirty state, we will deduct penalties from the deposit.
d. Fines will be deducted from the deposit.

4. Cancellation by the tenant
a. Cancellations must be made in writing or by e-mail to La Maison des Druides / camping Le Jardin des Druides. Immediately after receipt of the cancellation La Maison des Druides / camping Le Jardin des Druides will send a cancellation confirmation / invoice.
b. In case of cancellation up to 12 weeks before the start of the rental period the already paid rental sum will be fully refunded to the hirer.
c. For cancellations up to 8 weeks before the start of the rental period, 40% of the rental sum will be charged.
d. In the event of cancellation within 8 weeks but 4 or more weeks before the commencement of the hire period, 60% of the hire price will be charged.
e. In the event of cancellation within 4 weeks before the start of the hire period, the full amount invoiced will be due.
f. All monies paid will be settled and paid immediately in accordance with the cancellation terms and the cancellation note.
g. The accommodation costs are due for the entire reserved period, even if you arrive later or leave earlier.
h. We advise you to take out a cancellation insurance.

5. Cancellation by La Maison des Druides / camping Le Jardin des Druides
a. If circumstances force La Maison des Druides / camping Le Jardin des Druides to cancel the already rented holiday accommodation, this will immediately be communicated to the renter and, if possible, an alternative will be offered. If this alternative is not accepted by the tenant, or if it is not possible to offer an alternative by La Maison des Druides, La Maison des Druides will immediately refund the amount already paid by the tenant.

6. Care of the Gites and interior
a. The hirer shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furnishings, pictures, fixtures and fittings in or on the property and shall leave them in the same state of repair and cleanliness at the end of the hiring period as they were at the beginning.
b. The hirers must comply with all instructions relating to the use of the property and its fixtures and fittings as communicated by the owners of La Maison des Druides.
c. The hirers shall ensure that no personal belongings are left in the property upon departure.
d. The owners of La Maison des Druides / Le Jardin des Druides will make every effort to return valuables, provided that the customer notifies the owners within 24 hours after departure.
e. The owners of La Maison des Druides / Le Jardin des Druides accept no responsibility for personal belongings left in the property after departure.
f. A charge will be made for the return of lost property.
g. We assume that the tenants leave the house tidy and swept clean before departure.
h. In case of serious pollution the deposit can be used (wholly or partially) to pay for cleaning.
i. Please put the dishes back in the cupboard clean, please leave the used household clean.
j. Please leave the refrigerator empty and clean.
k. Please put used materials and objects (such as books and games) back in the right place.
l. Leave each classroom clean and tidy. Please put things and materials back where they were found.
m. Remove the bed linen from the beds. Leave the furniture as you found it.
n. For the bathrooms and sanitary facilities: leave the bathtub (Les Moutons), the showers and the toilets in clean condition.

7. Damage and security deposit (security deposit is only for Gites)
a. Tenants will use the property lawfully, will not abuse or damage the facilities provided, and will comply with any health and safety or other policies or instructions communicated to you by the owners of La Maison des Druides.
b. The hirers will keep the property and all its furnishings, fixtures and fittings in the same state of repair as at the commencement of the hire period.
c. The Owners may charge additional reasonable costs resulting from your stay if you have not complied with this paragraph. These costs are necessary to return the property to its original state of cleanliness and beauty for future bookings by other clients.
d. La Maison des Druides will ask you for a pre-authorisation of your credit or debit card at the time of booking. This is a temporary reservation of credit or debit card details in the event of any additional charges, loss of contents or damage to the property beyond normal wear and tear and will remain in force until after departure. While the card will not be debited, the pre-authorisation ensures that the money is available so that a charge can be made.
e. Each property is inspected on departure.
f. Pre-authorisation of charges does not prevent the guest from being liable for any damage caused by him.
g. In the holiday home there is an information folder with house rules and instructions about the house and its furnishings. The tenant should acquaint himself with these after arrival. These rules and instructions are an integral part of the rental agreement and must therefore be strictly observed.
h. If the tenant does not behave like a good tenant or causes nuisance or inconvenience to the surroundings, the tenant may be denied further access to the gite or camping site. The rental agreement will then automatically be considered terminated, and no claim can be made for a refund of the rental fee.
i. On the campsite (sanitary building) there is an information sheet with house rules and instructions concerning the campsite and equipment in the sanitary building. The tenant must familiarise himself with these upon arrival. These rules and instructions form an inseparable part of the rental agreement and must therefore be strictly observed.
j. See also point 6 and 8 concerning fines and care of the gites.

8. Penalties in the event of breakage, damage or soiling of the gîtes
a. Our rental properties are “No Smoking”. If we discover on your departure that you have been smoking, the entire deposit will be retained as compensation.
b. Dishes not done: 10 euro
c. Kitchen dirty: 10 euro
d. Broken glasses and plates: 3 euro per piece
e. Rubbish not emptied: 10 euro
f. Gite not cleaned up: 10 euro
g. Dirty duvet: 20 euro
h. Damage to electrical equipment, furniture, etc.: Cost of repair or replacement (max. 100 euros)

9. Liability of La Maison des Druides / campsite Le Jardin des Druides
a. The stay in and the use of the facilities of La Maison des Druides / campsite Le Jardin des Druides occurs entirely at your own risk.
b. La Maison des Druides / campsite Le Jardin des Druides can not accept liability for loss, theft, damage or injury of any kind caused to or by tenants of La Maison des Druides / campsite Le Jardin des Druides.
c. We can not accept any liability for inconveniences caused by changes in the situation.
d. Obvious mistakes or errors in the description or prices of the accommodations offered by La Maison des Druides / camping Le Jardin des Druides do not bind La Maison des Druides / camping Le Jardin des Druides.

10. Stay
a. Arrival is possible on any day of the week. You can move into the holiday home between 15.00 and 21.00 hours on the first day of your stay. On the day of departure, the house must be vacated by 10:00. The departure time for the campsite is no later than 11 am.
b. The costs for the final cleaning are obligatory.
c. You have to respect the maximum number of persons mentioned in the description of the holiday homes on our website.
d. It is not allowed to let the holiday home to third parties.
e. The holiday homes and campsite are located on a domain that you share with other guests. The privacy and (night) rest of the other guests must be respected, as well as their property and that of La Maison des Druides.
f. It is not allowed to smoke in the holiday homes and common areas at La Maison des Druides / camping Le Jardin des Druides.
g. In case of severe drought or heat, smoking is also not allowed outside.
h. In case of severe drought or heat, open fire and barbecuing are not allowed.

11. Dogs
a. Due to the safety of our own animals and bad experiences in the past, dogs are no longer allowed (except service dogs). Other animals (e.g. cats) are also not allowed. The following rules apply for service dogs only:
b. Dogs of category 1 and 2 are not allowed in France and therefore also not in our gite. This includes: Pitbull, American Staffordshire Terrier, Boerbull, Mastiff, Tosa, Rottweiler, and crosses of these dog types.
c. Vaccinations/Dog passport: Only dogs that are house trained and older than 12 weeks are welcome. We also ask every dog owner to be in possession of a dog passport and that every dog is fully vaccinated. The welfare of the dog is our highest priority and we want to avoid any health risks.
d. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on all our sites and are not allowed on the campsite (please look out for the signs!).
e. Droppings: Service dogs are of course welcome, but we prefer no inconvenience. This means that we expect you, as owner, to correct your dog(s) in case of excessive barking and not to leave your dogs alone in the garden or gite when you are not there. If your dog accidentally relieves himself on our property, you are obliged to clean up his waste and to deposit it in the container.
f. Fleas: It is the responsibility of each holiday-maker to treat his/her dogs properly against fleas so that the chalets remain free of them.
g. Our animals: We have animals ourselves (dog, cats, sheep, chickens and bees) which we love dearly. It is their home and they need their rest and safe space. Therefore, once again, your dog must be on a leash at all times when outside on our property.
h. If you do not abide by our house rules, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday without refund.

12. Swimming Pond
a. The use of the swimming pond is free and can only be used by the tenants and owners of La Maison des Druides / Camping Le Jardin des Druides.
b. The swimming pond is not guarded and users are responsible for any accidents!
c. Children are always under the supervision of their parents or guardians with whom they travel.
d. Sharp objects are prohibited in the swimming pond and the pool.
e. Animals and plants in the swimming pond must be respected at all times and it is strictly forbidden to remove plants and/or kill or injure animals in the swimming pond.
f. The swim pond is a natural ecosystem. It is therefore not permitted to use chemical sun block when using the swim pond. Organic sun block is allowed! It is recommended to wear a t-shirt in the swimming pond.

13. Domestic animals present at La Maison des Druides
a. The following animals are present at La Maison des Druides: cats, sheep, chickens, bees, pond snails and mussels.
b. The welfare of our animals must be respected at all times (including in our swimming pond!).
c. Our animals like cuddles, but do not handle them roughly. They need rest, so do not run after them.
d. The animals must not be fed! Some plants can cause diseases or can even be deadly.
e. Children may stroke the animals, but always under the supervision of their parents or guardians.
f. The tenants are themselves responsible for any accidents with the animals.

14. Bees
a. We are beekeepers. That is why we have a few bee colonies on our property. Bees are lovely animals, but if they are disturbed, they sting!
b. It is marked where the hives are.
c. Do not disturb the hives!
d. You are welcome to visit the hives, but only if accompanied by (one of) the owners. It is forbidden to visit the hives without being accompanied by the owners!
